Thanks Tone – i’m surprised i got the shot in focus actually (I use a manual focus camera – old school) as they’re antics trying to take it were making us all laugh a lot. It’s the “semi-tame Emu’s” that are a scream to watch when food is around – good wholesome and cheap entertainment i say.

Hi Debbie – sorry for the long delay in responding – we have not had a lot internet access of late, and hasn’t it been great too.

We aim to spend Xmas in the Taunton Big4 caravan park in Margaret River (just outside of MR actually) -it’s slim picking’s to stay at decent places around the country during this period – we should have booked many moons ago to stay at better spots over the Xmas period, c’est la vie.

Take care and speak soon … Geoff & Celia

I love the entry in 1959 when Dawn began serving tea and scones! This has to be one of the best time lines Ive seen!

Hiya Son – thanks for all the wonderful & many comments on our trip so far – most appreciated.

As to Dawns situation at Curtain Springs – she must have been an amazing woman and it is situations like this we hear a lot at the many cattle stations we’ve stayed at so far. They all have amazing stories to tell and some incredible hardships to endure. We always knew it’s damn tough scraping together a decent living in the desert, but what we’ve seen on this trip takes our understanding to a whole new level. Hope our two boys learn something from the experience that life is not what is showing on your iPad? 🙂
