Love the Clare Valley region and heading there in a few weeks. Fantastic pictures and so lovely to see a family shot!

Thanks Mel. Clare Valley is a lovely region. Trust you enjoy Riesling which it’s well known for, but there are other varietals too.

I neglected to mention this in the blog I’ve just realised – we had lunch one of days at Paulettes Winery as we had read good things about it and it didn’t disappoint in contrast to what you pay. (If you end up there, try their Stuffed Asian Chicken Dish – Celia had it and was absolutely divine.

Thanks also for pointing out the family shot – we do need more of these and was also recently subtly reminded by my brother in-law, and correctly so! 🙂

Great stuff guys, love these posts and pics, Aidan and Lochy are probably learning so much more in the great outdoors classroom, all kids should do this. No wonder they are little brainiacs!

      Thanks Tam,
The boys have definitely grown, it’s been such an invaluable experience. I wish I’d spent more time doing this stuff when I was young, and I’m grateful that we’re doing it now. I have a lot to be thankful for. 🙂

You should also probably comb your hair before “the family shot”. Very nice to see, and it’s good to see your friend the emu making a comeback.

Yes, it’s a pretty ‘rough’ family portrait, isn’t it?! I’m just happy we didn’t all topple over the cliff. As for the emus, there seem to be quite a lot of them, so I think the one we hit didn’t make too much of a ‘dent’ in their population. By the way, I love emus. They’re the funniest creature, the ‘Mr Bean’ of the animal world, and we’ve loved seeing them around. In fact, Geoff suggests that you should get a few for the farm, they’re so entertaining to watch.
