      Thanks Kim,
it’s great isn’t it? I think Geoff needs a new set of eyes, though. He worries about his ‘focal ability’. 🙂

Thanks also Kim, I simply need a BIGGER focal length lens and I’ll be right. That way I won’t have to resort to stalking the birds as i can’t tell you how many failures you have before pulling one off. 🙂
BTW, I read you last trip post earlier today – best post to-date. Congratulations to you and Brian on safely completing the lap as it were – the memories will no doubt last a lifetime i’m sure. Hope your broken foot heals quickly too. Geoff.

I am absolutely thrilled you had that experience it was a gift from the universe for your love and tenacity. A deeply profound experience . They are truly magnificent birds and you have a superb aptitude with the lens.

All well here an overcast day for Australia Day.

      Hi Debbie,

Thank you for the lovely compliments as always and were all pleased to hear you enjoyed these images – we certainly enjoyed bringing them to you as each day is a new adventure and you never know what it will bring. We have seen numerous Baldin &/or Carnaby’s Cockatoo’s on our trip so far, however they have always been so distant from us and it has been their distinctive cry that grabs you attention usually whilst in flight, so getting up reasonably close as we did to fire off a frame or two of them in the way we did is rare.
I am not sure why we were successful on this occasion, but thankful just the same. Please say hello to everyone in the Dunn household from all of us. G&C
