      Hello Emma & Peter,

Welcome to our travel blog and we’re happy to hear you like it and hope you continue to follow us on our journey.

It was great meeting you both (& some of your extended family as well) in Margaret River and we forgot to mention in our blog to thank you both for teaching our boys the game of Bocce. The boys have mentioned it frequently whilst we’re down here in a very windy & blustery Peaceful Bay (oh the irony 🙂 ) so thanks once again. On the photography front, I still love it and find it easy to get inspired so I think at some point in the near future I may need to move towards auto-focus equipment as my photo “keeper-rate” is getting lower all the time now, using manual focus only equipment – getting old I guess. All the very best…

Hi gorgeous Hunter Family – happy New Year it appears to be off to a superb start for you. Thank you for this magnificent post I loved every word and the photographs are so evocative. Aidan like Geoff has an innate aptitude for photography. Thank you too for our Christmas card and photographs they are on the fridge so we say ‘hi’ to you regularly. Your Venus fly trap is thriving as we have had a significant amount of rain. I will send a photo. We are all well and miss you. Tetra is in fine form. With love and best wishes for the next adventure. Debbie Graham Alex and Doug and Tetra xxxxx

Thank you Debbie, and Happy New Year to you and the family, including that little furball Tetra. We have heard of lots of rain and storms in Sydney over the past week, and are not missing that strange weather at all! 🙂 Keep us posted with your own adventures for this year, and your lovely family. Lots of love from us xxxx
p.s. we’re so impressed the venus fly trap is thriving, sounds like it’s doing better at no. 12 than it did at no. 14!

What an amazing country, no wonder all the rest of the world wants to come and visit. I think the boys will have trouble going back to “normal” school. We can’t wait for our van to arrive. You guys have really inspired us, take care, from all of us at Martinsville.

Thanks, Gez. We can certainly recommend this corner of the country for having lots to do within a short area. We could decide each morning whether it was vineyards, beach or picnic in the forrest for that day. Can’t wait to see your van either! Hope the weather is behaving over there. xxxx

      Hi Ray & Maureen,

Yes, thank you – we had a great Xmas/NY. As it so happened, we arrived in Albany this afternoon. We’re staying just out of town (at this location here – zoom in for exact location) for the next few days to get the D4 serviced – possibly till Friday. Will give you a call tomorrow to arrange a catch up.

hey Sis, Geoff, Aidan, Lochie Happy new year folks!!. I’m back in Beijing where the weather is freezing and the sky shifting between royal blue and toxic grey. Today it’s blue 🙂 The beaches there look magnificent, fine sand? if only you could turn down the wind, you’d have us moving there. Can’t wait for the photos around the Esperence area, keep on with the blog, great for a bit of couch travelling and envy-juice, hugs and kisses all, muz, ps are we still awaiting the grand winner of the guess what Geoff said next? I mean i know Lucy looks like the favourite but this long decision time is making me feel like I may have a chance :-b

Hi Muz, Sorry, no chance. Lucy took the prize of ‘what Geoff said next’. Perhaps that post was censored by Beijing due to it’s sensitive content. 😉 Sis x
