Thank you Geoff & Celia, you are indeed a wonderfully inspiring family and it has been a delight to have met you along the way of your travels. Yes, the Warrumbungles are truly a fabulous place to visit. We saw the devastation 12 months after the fires and it truly was heartbreaking to see. Until we meet again somewhere in the big wide world – Fraser Island is a great place to visit too!!!!

Oh, Maria and Den, the pleasure is equally ours too. I’m confident we get to meet up somewhere sometime soon. We’ll be back up on the sunshine coast (Noosa) in about 3 weeks from now.

Lovely memories. Always great to see photos of home. We used to live at Tooraweenah which locals called the gateway to the Warrumbungles. Also enjoyed reading your posts about Purnululu and Horizontal which we will be visiting next month. So looking forward to it all. Shall have a good read of all you adventures. Thank you.

    Hi Guys
I feel a bit sad that your lovely trip is over too, its been great reading and following along with Celia, Lachi and Aidan on the walks and seeing whats on the menu for dinner 🙂 mmm , and the photography has been awesome Geoff, I have to say it, I just love love love the ‘lumpy’ photograph of the beautiful Warrumbungles the sky and the cloud formations and the shadows seem to match the landscapes below perfectly, a really awesome photo! You guys are inspiring and wonderful and getting out their in the bush is a real credit to you…we love bushwalkers !! I have to say that I was with Celia the first time she went to the ‘Bungles’, it would have been about 1975ish when she was a wee baby, on a camping trip with there family to Rocky and back, I remember the ‘Breadknife’ such an unusual name for a rock, but such a Aussie thing to do, I wonder what the indigenous name is, if it means something like ‘cutting tool’ (or is Warrumbungle indigenous?)…anyway thank you wonderful Hunters for your travelogue..see you soon on the lovely Sunny coast..and dare I say it….’back to school’ (in uniform!!) 🙂 🙂 !!
